Having lived in Wasilla since 2007, Owen brings 17 years of local expertise to his work. His journey began in a small town in Mississippi before he joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 2004, embodying the motto “Semper Paratus,” meaning “Always Prepared.” This ethos resonates in Resolute Land Surveying’s unwavering dedication to meeting clients’ needs with unparalleled service.

After nine years of Coast Guard service, Owen utilized the GI Bill to pursue his passion for land surveying at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). He graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Geomatics. In 2022, he earned his Registered Professional Land Surveyor License from the State of Alaska, solidifying his expertise in the field.

With over 11 years of experience surveying in the Mat-Su Valley and across Alaska, Owen’s proficiency was honed during his tenure at Cottini Land Surveying in Palmer. He gained invaluable insights into completing as-builts, lot surveys, and subdivisions there.

An active member of the Alaska Society of Professional Land Surveyors (ASPLS), Owen currently serves as the president of the Mat-Su Chapter and contributes to the conference planning committee. Resolute Land Surveying is also an affiliate of the Valley Board of Realtors, further enhancing the company’s standing in the community.
